Taking Action

Enterprising behavior typically involves ‘making waves’, and enterprising people tend to be good at taking action.

This paper offers a conceptual investigation of the behavioral and cognitive strategies that allow people to take action quickly. A conceptual framework is outlined using the constructs of the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) as the base model, and identifying action enablers in relation to the TPB constructs. The role of volitional constructs in moderating the intention-action link is also highlighted.
